Having already conquered the Nurburgring, the forthcoming BMW X5 M has been spied cold weather testing in northern Scandinavia.

The extent of its M-division visual tweaking is clearly identifiable by the various patches of camouflage covering this prototype, including the signature side-vents and larger air intakes up front.


These latest images also give us our first glimpse of the M-division interior, which includes the usual addition of M badges and colour-matched stitching on the sports leather steering wheel.


2010 BMW X5 M interior spied


Like the X6 M, the new X5 M will feature BMW’s powerful twin-turbo V8 engine which is expected to produce over 370kW.
